It has been almost 20 months that the Prognostikon blog has been up and running and I am most grateful for all the support and viewership that this effort has received. I am delighted to announce the first seminar, on a prospective seminar series, on speculative investing and financial forecasting titled "Foundations of Speculative Investing". The seminar will be organized by the Center for Continuing Education of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, under which the blog now operates as a full research program.
The seminar will be fully online and take place in two 3-hour sessions on the 27th and 28th of June, with the 26th of June reserved for an optional Python seminar - for those not already familiar with the workings of Python for financial forecasting. You can find more details about the seminar by downloading the brochure below and you can easily register for it online by following the two registration buttons below. Note: when you first click on the registration buttons you will have to create an account with the Cybele system of the Center. Then each time you log-in you will go directly to the seminar's related pages.
Looking forward to seeing you there and, in the meantime, take a look at the seminar contents and feel free to suggest material that you would like to see covered there - I will try to accomodate requests as much as possible.
