Dr. Dimitrios Karaoulanis is a member of the Laboratory and Teaching Faculty at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics (Honors) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a M.Sc. in Robotics and Automatic Control from the National Technical University of Athens and a Ph.D. in Physics also from the National Technical University of Athens. His research activities focus on the structure and properties of materials (electrical, electronic and optical properties) as well as on mathematical analysis issues concerning the use of fractional derivatives in the study of physical problems. He as 25 publications in internationally recognized journals as well as several participation in conferences on related topics.
